The Twinkle Factory reagents
fluorogens AND Molecular gluesWe are offering a number of Fluorogens for FAST and splitFAST, and molecular glues for CATCHFIRE in a large variety of colors and other properties
The Twinkle Factory offers two ranges of reagents differing by their color (emission wavelength), their brightness (quantum yield), and their affinity for their cognate tags:
- Fluorogens for FAST and splitFAST
- Molecular glues for CATCHFIRE
More than 60 plasmids for FAST and splitFAST, and CATCHFIRE, in mammalian cells have been made available on Addgene by Prof. Arnaud Gautier so to help expedite your research. Beyond, our partner e-Zyvec (Polyplus, part of Sartorius) offer an integrated service for design and production of tailor-made DNA vectors. They have included FAST and splitFAST into D-Zyvec, their powerful design engine.

Fluorogens for FAST and splitFAST
The Twinkle Factory offers a variety of commercial Fluorogens for FAST and splitFAST differing by their color (emission wavelength), their brightness (quantum yield), and their affinity for the tag. They also may be non-permeant through cell membranes (the NP series).

Cognate proteic tags
A wide variety of proteic tags have been developed during the recent years, either improving the properties of basic tags or featuring special properties. As a result, we today recommend pFAST (brighter and more promiscuous than FAST1 or FAST2) for straightforward protein reporting or splitFAST2 (brighter and lower affinity than splitFAST) for protein-protein interaction reporting. Most of our Fluorogens can be used with any version of FAST or splitFAST. Besides, greenFAST is specific for TFLime and redFAST for TFCoral. Used together, they hence allow multicolor orthogonal labeling. frFAST was specifically designed with TFPoppy for far-red labeling.
