Stain different, tag FAST
Stain Different Tag FAST with The Twinkle Factory! This is how everything got started in 2017 from the wish of Arnaud Gautier, Ludovic Jullien and Franck Perez, three top-notch scientists from ENS-PSL, Sorbonne University, and the Institut Curie to help others accelerate their research.
Seeing cellular mechanisms is the first step towards understanding the inner workings of living systems. But many biological molecules and processes are yet to be unveiled. Our research aims at inventing new ways of observing biomolecules and cellular events via next-generation fluorescent labels in cell-based assays, live cell imaging, cytometry.
The Twinkle Factory’s products are based on the instantaneous formation of a fluorescent molecular assembly between the FAST protein or splitFAST and fluorogenic ligands (Fluorogens). Only the assembly of both the tag and the Fluorogen fluoresce, allowing specific detection by fluorimetry or optical microscopy. We hence provide efficient tools for various applications in biological imaging, from fundamental mechanisms to drug screening.
